"Günter Heinz is an accomplished composer and improviser known far beyond the German borders. He is able to invent extremely creative sounds (from noise to harsh, stinging tones) and musical lines on his instruments and artfully combines diverse musical styles of the 20th century. Grassi was up to this level. During his debut in Wuppertal he proved to be a vital and sensitive drummer and percussionist. The musicians harmonized on the highest level, reacted to each others ideas in the same manner and developed those furthermore in a creative fashion." Hartmut Sassenhausen, Wuppertaler Zeitung

"Trombone and drums are an unusual duo combination, but musicians like Lou Grassi and Günter Heinz promise to make this an interesting project. Their music is intense and they explore the sound possibilities of their instruments without needing to play fast or loud. They play with intense concentration. . . " Jazztimes
